2.1 Account Setup

Connecting Your Wallet to VersaX Bot

VersaX Bot is designed to streamline your access to DeFi tools directly through the Telegram messaging app. Follow these steps to connect your wallet and start interacting with the platform:

  1. Open the VersaX Bot Interface:

    • Begin by opening the Telegram app and accessing the VersaX Bot chat. This can be done through the official link @OfficialVersaX or by searching for VersaX Bot within Telegram.

  2. Connect Your Wallet:

    • In the VersaX Bot interface, click on the “Connect Wallet” button. This action will direct you to the wallet connection screen.

    • On this screen, click on the “Connect Wallet” button again. A popup will appear, allowing you to select your preferred wallet. VersaX Bot currently supports TrustWallet (recommended), MetaMask, and Bybit Web3 wallets.

    • If your chosen wallet is not installed, you can easily install it by clicking the “Get” button, which will take you to the download page.

  3. Verify Connection:

    • Once your wallet is successfully connected, the interface will display a “Disconnect” button, confirming the connection. Additionally, VersaX Bot will send a message within the Telegram chat, showing your connected wallet address.

  4. Return to the Bot:

    • After your wallet is connected, go back to the VersaX Bot interface in Telegram. Click on the “Menu” button, followed by “Start VersaX Bot” or “Open the bot menu.” This will automatically trigger the appropriate command, such as “/start” or “/menu,” and VersaX Bot will display a list of options for you to choose from.

  5. Disconnecting Your Wallet:

    • If you need to disconnect your wallet at any time, simply click on the “Disconnect” button in the wallet connection interface or use the “Sign out” option.

Connecting Your Wallet to the VersaX Web App

VersaX also provides a web app for users who prefer managing their assets through a traditional web interface. Here’s how to connect your wallet:

  1. Access the Web App:

    • Visit the VersaX web app by navigating to VersaX Web App in your browser. app.versax.io

  2. Initiate Wallet Connection:

    • Click on the “Connect Wallet” button located in the top right corner of the homepage.

  3. Select Your Wallet:

    • Choose your preferred wallet from the available options. The web app currently supports MetaMask Trust and Bybit.

  4. Approve the Connection:

    • Follow the prompts in your wallet extension to authorize the connection to VersaX.

  5. Start Interacting:

    • Once connected, you can begin trading, staking, or managing your assets directly through the web app interface.
